TrusTrace is a SaaS-provider founded in 2016 with the goal of contributing to a better world. We believe that there is no sustainability without traceability. That is why we are on a mission to bring transparency of the social and environmental impact of products to producers who want to know what they sell, and for consumers who care what they buy.
The team is approximately 100 people today and expanding fast, with the purpose of taking TrusTrace from a niche player among sustainability pioneers, to a globally recognized leader in product traceability and supply chain transparency within fashion and sustainable retailing.
Therefore, TrusTrace is now looking for a Head of Finance to join the management, headquartered in Stockholm.
About the role
As Head of Finance, you will have the opportunity to influence growth and profitability through insightful analytics and be the storyteller of TrusTrace in numbers. You will lead a small but highly talented team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, analysis, and financial forecasting systems for our rapidly growing company. You will also be responsible for the global finance operations, accounting, and reporting. Over time you will build a global team.
Some of your team’s areas of responsibilities:
- Updating and automating financial models, producing actionable business intelligence that timely informs and improves business results through KPIs, metrics and dashboards.
- Owning and innovating forecasting models, including consolidations, scenario planning, reporting, variance analyses for income statement, cash flow and balance sheet forecasts, fund raising diligence.
- Partnering with senior leadership across the company as the finance team builds forecasts and budgets, tracks performance, identifies risks and opportunities, and drives strategic business initiatives to deliver growth and state-of-the-art SaaS-metrics.
- Identifying new ways to analyse customer and product profitability and revenue trends, as well as generating enhanced metrics and analytics to inform resource and management investment decisions.
- Using available data to identify TrusTrace’s revenue peaks and profit drains and make recommendations regarding strategic alignment to improve GM and EBITDA margin.
- Assist in the preparation of board related content and in corporate governance tasks.
- ·Work with the management and founders during the capital raise.
- Present the TrusTrace journey using numbers and metrics.
- Participate in investors meetings and roadshows.
You will report to the CEO and be part of the management team.

Requirements of experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in financial planning & analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience with B2B SaaS companies where you have been a key part in establishing the financial organization, with scalable policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statement reporting, and financial modeling.
- Proven team leadership and management experience.
- Data driven with experience from automating financial workflows.
Meriting:
- Hands-on experience with financial systems, knowledge of PE Accounting and Quickbook is a plus.
- Experience in automating the FP&A process.
- Fundraising experience.
