What will you be doing?
As a Product Manager Hardware, you will be responsible for executing Pricer’s hardware portfolio strategy. Working closely with the Head of Product Management, you will define, develop, and communicate value propositions, customer propositions, and product propositions to ensure the success of our hardware offerings.
Executing on the hardware portfolio strategy includes:
• Build and develop value proposition (VP), customer proposition (CP) and product proposition (PP) for Pricer’s hardware portfolio.
• Ownership of Pricer’s gross pricing model for the hardware portfolio.
• Gathering of market feedback on hardware portfolio and collaborating with Product Owner to formulate change requests on existing products and requirements for new products.
• Responsibility for commercial requirements in the development of new products.
• Ensure overall alignment of communication regarding Pricer’s hardware portfolio, both externally and internally.
• Ensure a high knowledge level within sales organization on VP, CP and PP.
• Communicate VP, CP and PP externally to both customers and sales partners .
• Collaborate with strategic partners to further enhance Pricer’s hardware offering.
The Product Manager Hardware will work closely with the marketing department around communication of the VP, CP and PP, and the portfolio composition. The PM HW will also work closely with the product owners and project leaders to turn commercial requirements into feature and functionality requests and collaborate on prioritization.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with an outstanding analytical ability to understand the many variables affecting the profitability of a hardware portfolio. You have a doer attitude, as this role and department is new and need to create its own place in the organization. You are a trustworthy person, as this role sits very much in the center of the organization and needs to be able to get several departments synchronously move/change/act. Ability to work in the intersection between strategy and hands on operational tasks is a must and that you can handle stakeholders on all levels of an organization. You are outstanding in verbal and written communication.
What are your qualifications and requirements?
• Prior experience as a commercial product manager (5+ years minimum).
• Prior experience of packaging and pricing hardware portfolio. Experience working within organization with mixed software and hardware offering is a plus.
• Prior experience of launching new hardware products (from development to market launch)
• At least a Bachelor’s degree
